This covers what I have left of Phantom Tales. This is a great game, but the planning needed to run one session is… hoo.

It might be a little hard to follow since Sky had made maps and everything. I know I have screenshots of the starting maps of some of the chapters, but I’m not sure if I have everything.

Incidentally, Chapter 2, Session 2 was interesting in that we had an R-Rated game… and I had given up swearing for Lent. I re-added all the swear words, but if you see “oh heck” or some weird censoring, let me know in a comment. ^^;

Not only did I post all the logs for Spirit of Mana last night, but I went back and split up the first four chapters in their respective parts so the wiki wouldn’t choke everytime I edited something.

So…

Spirit of Mana

Chrono Crisis

Ys: Rebirth

I’m editing the last few Phantom Tales logs, and then… I’m actually current with the semi-recent games.

I could post Reflection of Mana, Legacy of Mana, or Final Fantasy IX Gaiden, but… @.@

Sky: …… WHY THE HELL IS THERE A WORD FOR THIS IN JAPANESE
Jacoby: For what? ^^
Sky: gyarandoxu*: (n) happy trail (line of hair from the navel to the genitals); pubic hair
Kett: ………………..
Jacoby: o.O
Kett: I think it’s Chinese.
Sky: THAT DOESN’T HELP
Kett: There’s no “xu” sound in Japanese.. but… ^^;;;;;;;
Jacoby: …a better question is, what on earth lead you to this discovery? ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Sky: I was looking for the translation of a word. >.>
Kett: *hi-fives Jacoby* XD
Jacoby: UR DOIN IT RONG
Jacoby: *runs* XD
Kett: CONGRATULATIONS
Kett: YOU FOUND SOME PORN
Jacoby: Man, that’s so, so blogworthy. XD
Sky: GAH
Sky: DO NOT
Sky: Don’t you dare.
Sky: DOES NOT WANT
Kett: TOO RATE!

I’ve realized that there might be a problem with my plan.

Originally, I wanted to recover the Runelight because the Lady Luck was too conspicuous. I could change the ship’s energy signature until I’m blue in the face, but it’s really hard to disguise a very large ship that looks like a giant cricket.

However, because Hunter’s ship is in Imperial hands, they know what the ship looks like… which defeats the purpose of my plan.

When I read the Divine Comedy on Chord’s ship, I saw the plans for something I never thought possible — an Ethecite Wave-Drive Engine. Ethecite is incredibly unstable, and the thought of making a Wave-Drive Engine with an Ethecite Crystal as its core is absolutely ludicrous, even though the output would be 300,000 percent greater… but I know how to make one.

It would require a LOT of effort and manpower. It’s something I can’t even dream of making until we get to Risidor III… I’m scared to tell anyone about it, though — what if people would take advantage of the technology like Chord did? What if the knowledge fell into Imperial Hands? Then again, we’re talking about Risidorians…

I’d have to talk to Hunter about possibly scrapping both our ships and building a new one… I don’t think he’d like the idea, though.
