Rank C: 8,141 words (COMPLETE)

I put a little word count calendar at the top right corner. Red means I did suck. Light green says I hit my target. Dark green means I did exceptionally well. Dark red means the system fucked up and that I did well that day, but that for some reason it thinks I did horrifically bad that day.

Hoping I can get into the groove for working on Logbook now. If not, I’m going to work on the other two stories.

Still anticipating being 5,000 words behind. I might have to write that gag Sierta story.

I told myself that I can’t watch anymore Savers until I catch up. *sigh*

I’m at 22,835 words. By midnight tonight, I’m supposed to be at 33,333 words, so I’m roughly 10,498 words behind.

I managed to write about 2,500 words last night. That’s 833 more words than I’m “supposed” to. And that was with being extremely distracted by teh intarwebs. I think I might be able to do that again tonight.

There might be hope. I’ll need to focus a lot more on this than I already am — which means giving up WoW even more, not that I’ve been playing much — and possibly even (ulp) cutting off my non-MSN web traffic through the router.

I’m sorta thinking on pulling an all-nighter on Saturday night. Not sure if I’ll have the balls to do this.

I wrote yet another Kevin and Nezumimon story called A Mind of His Own. It’s basically the prequel of what happened before DARPG. Apart from a section in the middle (I hate looking up Digimon, especially when there’s no graphical reference), it’s done and it clocks in at 6,000-ish words. I’m pretty satisfied with the story, and I’m ready to move on to something else.

With my personal crisis with TM&TM (hell, I haven’t even posted by turn yet… I’m sorry), I haven’t been in the mood to write about Christopher. That story is very nearly done, though. I suspect that the bit I have left will take about 700-1000 words, which would short me in the word count department, but at least it’d be done. Then I’ll have to immerse myself in CC, MI or FFIXG logs in order to get into the next few stories…

Logbook should be about 5,000 words. The bit in Trials should be about 1,000 words. Rank C, Ithan-Yuran and Wargames should hopefully be another 5,000 each. I can squeeze another 500 words out of A Mind of His Own.

That shorts me… er… 5,500 words.

Uh-oh.

I don’t think I can write Modding the Future or whatever Jace’s story was supposed to be. I’m just not into it. I could write a gag story involving Sierta, but that won’t be anything more than 2,000 words…

*suddenly panics*

Cas (NaNoWriMo) says:

AHHHHHHH! Digimon Savers is ripping all of us off! >.<

The virus... the artificial Digimon... the digital gates created at will... they ripped that off me.

Now the human!digimon? Weren't Lucas et al. all Digimon in human forms?

And they ripped Lilamon off Sky, too...
