I don’t know why I’m so sleepy. Well, maybe it’s because I’m going to bed later than normal, but it’s not something uncommon for a weekend…
I found out that Metro Continuing Education (where I took Bio 30) is offering Japanese Level 3 in April. It’d be Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm from April to the end of June. I’m seriously thinking about it, but looking at the course materials, it seems like the teacher uses Japanese for Busy People (woot, same book I had at GMCC), but the kana version (ouch). I think I might have to e-mail the school and ask if my GMCC classes are transferable, and if the course outline is similar to what it was at GMCC… assuming that they’re transferable, I might have to drop down a level if the teacher is more serious than Matsuba-sensei was; no offense to her, though — it was a non-credit class and the average age group was 16… she did what she could.
The courses are $235 a pop (the GMCC ones were $170), so ouch. But at least they’re offering the damn course (unlike GMCC), and it’s relatively close by (a high school 10 minutes driving from here).
Funny thing is, I was on the website so I could look at some creative writing classes… only, thinking about it, what I really need are some grammar classes…
