Notes: It’s not much, but hey, it’s something. Also, this is an ultra-draft, since I haven’t proofed it yet.

I went up the walk towards Sorai’s house, and I stopped short at the scene before me; there was a tall, chubby human male in the leafy hedges by the living room window. I couldn’t see for sure what exactly he was doing, but just the fact that he was watching Sorai and Captain Harmless was enough to make me turn him into charcoal.

Or at least, that’s what I’d actually be doing if I had my powers back.

Things should flow extremely well for you today, dear Taurus, especially when it comes to anything having to do with love and beauty. Throw a party, or at least invite some close friends over for dinner. A tremendous fire from within is fueling your romantic and social nature. Your creativity is at a monthly peak, and you will find that your relations with others will go extremely well in general.

My creativity’s in a slump right now. I’ve been picking away at the crack TWEWY Cast Plays SSBB story, but it’s honestly going nowhere fast. I’ve had Krysit on the brain lately, however, so maybe I should take that as a cue to work on that.

Also:

  • I nearly got t-boned by an old Chinese bitty on my way to pick Sky up yesterday. She blew her light and stopped all the way into the right-hand lane. Yes, she was hunched over the wheel. Lord.
  • I’m actually looking forward to working on Sky’s computer in the coming days. I won’t let a piece of sillicon get the better of my husband.
  • In other computer-related news, Hunter’s external hard drive failed along with his fricking video card. Thank goodness that I cheaped out on his motherboard and got one with on-board video, so he was able to use that as a backup. It doesn’t run WoW, though. We suspect that it overheated because it’s 40°C down there.
  • Talking about WoW segues nicely into the fact that I’ve started doing dailies. (For those of you who don’t know what those are, they’re repeatable quests that you can do once per day.) I hate them with a passion and I feel they’re disgustingly overhyped. However, I am addicted to making money (555 gold since Friday night), so I’m doing them.
  • I bought FFIV and I haven’t even unwrapped it yet. My mother got a DS expressly for this game and she’s going to finish it before me. I’m losing gamer cred!

Sky blogged about his computer woes here, and today, armed with the only proof I had that I even submitted the mobo for repair, I went to Memory Express to attempt to get back some of the missing parts that had no record of even being taken from me. I was making myself sick with worry for most of the day, because I truly, truly hate confrontation, and I was geared with having to argue my way into most of a new motherboard.

They had the parts waiting for me in the back.

I’m half-wondering why they didn’t CALL me about said parts that have been clogging their shelves for a couple of months, but everything’s there in a neat little box.

I love being a pessimist. When stuff like this happens, it’s like a moment in paradise.
