I couldn’t run as long today, but I did 17 minutes total at 3.3 MPH with two 4-minute stints of running at 4.3-4.4 MPH.

Playlist today was:

1. IDOLA the Strange Fruits (Phantasy Star Online 3)
2. Boss Battle 1 (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
3. Opening Theme (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
4. VIVID (Final Fantasy Unlimited)
5. Pierce (Wada Kouji) (first verse/chorus only)

Rhythm is important for me. With my stride length, I was going at 4.3 MPH at #2 and 4.4 MPH for #4. I’d hit the treadmill during the beats. ^^;

I’m so hot now, but I feel so good.

I’m down to 164 lbs.

I’m in a hell of a lot of pain this morning, and my muscles are hurting in ways I’ve never thought possible. But it’s a good hurt.

I’m planning on running again today at lunch.

It’s so beautiful. It’s so, so, beautiful. The music’s as good as if I were listening to it off the original CD.

Guys, I’m crying. I’m so, so happy.

Guys, I’m so proud of myself. Not only did I do 22:45 on the treadmill at 3.3 MPH, but I managed to run stints of 5 minutes, 2.5 minutes and 2 minutes at 4.3-4.4 MPH! This is longer than ANYTHING I’ve done before! (Usually I die at 1 minute of running!)

I credit the confidence boost I got from Alissa and Ben yesterday. Thanks, you guys!

The Voice of GAYA: “… there are others… others who will be critical to your quest. I can not see them all… but two of your closest companions, I can see. One was once a friend of the Earth, but lost his faith… the other, a creature of GAYA, awaiting its purpose.”

Well, I know who the “friend of the Earth” is (Rane was “doin it rong”, hehe), but I haven’t encountered the other party member yet. “Creature of GAYA” could mean a lot of things, though. Judging from what I know OOCly (I know their name and their gender), this could be anything from a squirrel to something mechanical (given that GAYA seems to be a computer system of sorts).

The reason why I’m playing the guessing game is because I’m planning on writing an Unbound story for NaNoWriMo 2008, and I need to leave a contingency spot for Party Member #4. Like Rane, they likely won’t have too big a role (heck, even Deed won’t have much screen time), but I need to keep it in the back of my mind.

Speaking of NaNo, I have roughly seven stories planned so far, not counting the leftovers I didn’t do last year. I’m planning the TFW-releated one and the Unbound one to be HUGE, and those two alone might take up the whole 50,000 words on their own.

The theme for my novel seems to be “beginnings”. I’ll let you try and figure out what I mean by that… ^^
