I’ve been meaning to blog for quite a while, but I just haven’t had the energy to do so. I actually haven’t had the energy to do much at all except to veg in front of the vidja games, something that’s actually bothering me quite a bit as I’m not usually this apathetic.
This apathy has crept up into roleplaying, too, and I haven’t posted for my TWEWY game in a couple of weeks due to that and the blehs caused by the antibiotics I’m on (the last dose is at bedtime and not a moment too soon — they make me fart like crazy). No one seems to be saying anything about it, so I don’t know what to think about that.
I don’t know why I’m this crabby and blah… maybe I need a tan.

Christmas
I generally got what I asked for — money. That’s good enough for me. Had my parents over for Christmas and I’m surprised at how tight our planning was for baking and cooking. I guess we can do stuff when we don’t procrastinate our asses off…
We have WAY too many leftovers, however, and I don’t know how we’ll get through it all.
Phone
I hesitated to talk about this since I know a couple of people have been pining for one, but I’m getting an iPhone tomorrow as I’ll finally be upgrade eligible as of tomorrow. The catch is that I don’t have very many upgrade credits on my account, so a 16gb iPhone will cost me $449.
Ouch.
I do need a new phone, however, since the warranty just ran on mine; the camera on it is dead, the phone freezes randomly, and the keyboard is cracking. I hope that the iPhone can handle quite a bit of abuse, because I’m planning on abusing it like crazy. I’ll be smart and get a screen protector and a good case for it, though.
The Vidja
WoW has been pissing me off lately because of the increase to the level cap. I feel forced to play Syseska even though she’s the last character I want to play. I’m having severe altitis at the moment, and I’m currently working on Zyrath (Forsaken Rogue, 45), Kaelestia (Blood Elf Death Knight, 59) and Finwickett (Gnome Warrior, 18). I’d really like to get Cielle (Human Priest, 48) to level 50 for Inscription, too, but that’s a huge pipe dream.
I’m poking at Dragon Quest IV when I have a chance. It doesn’t help that I’m in Chapter 2 at the moment and I never liked it to begin with… now I have to deal with Chapter 2 AND the fake Russian accent. Ugh. Hoping to plow through so I can get to the goodness of Chapter 5…
Vacation
I’ll finally be on vacation between January 1st and January 11th. I’m planning on marking the occasion by doing a whole lot of nothing.
That’s about it. I’m planning on doing a State of the Cas on that Other Blog of Mine, though who knows when I’ll do it…
