So last night, I started getting a sharp pain on the side of my face, around where the dip is in your cheek by your ear. That was nice and all, but I couldn’t swallow without feeling searing pain all the way up to my ear.
Figuring it was a sinus infection, since I’ve had one there before, I tried to stave it off with copious amounts of water, tea, and NyQuil. When I woke up this morning with worse pain, though, I knew I had to go see the doctor.
So I did go at 9:00 am. Only took an hour, surprisingly, but then I went to Shoppers to get the prescription filled, which was a huge mistake since they quoted me a 30 minute wait (“can’t you come back tonight?”).
“Your insurance has been declined.”
Uh, what? I got new drug cards a while ago, and I’ve had it in my wallet for a while. I ended up paying full price for the meds because I needed them NOW, so that’s $50 gone.
When I got back to work, I checked the electronic copy of my drug claim card, and I found that the numbers were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than the one I had.
…
I’m filing a claim tonight (or at least, I’m gonna try to, given my state of mind).
Possible side effects:
- it may cause headaches
- it may cause diarrhoea
- it may cause stomach ache
- it may alter your sense of taste
- it may cause nausea and vomiting
Well, I have three of the five, which is awesome. The nausea is really much. I have a feeling I’ll do nothing but sleep tonight…
