1. I’m allergic to anything with the word “DM” in it, meaning that cold and flu season is pure agony for me.
2. I’m also hypoglycemic, which means I have to lay off the sugar because I’m the opposite of diabetic and any crash will make me cranky/pass out. On top of having to avoid candy of all sorts as well as soda, I have to avoid anything with artificial sugar as my body seems to think it’s regular sugar and thus makes me crash (even more than plain ol’ sugar).
3. In RPGs, I prefer playing guys. Don’t really know why.
4. I have a slight lisp, probably due to the gap between my teeth. This isn’t an issue unless I want to pronounce anything with “th” in it, which makes my name apparently come out as “Cassy”… which actually really doesn’t bother me, given my online name.
5. I’m completely entomophobic (phobia of insects). This is crippling enough until you realise that most MMOs are teeming with insects. I’m lucky enough to be able to dat-swap the spiders and the diremites in FFXI, but I’ve peed myself on more than one occasion in WoW (stupid Outland).
6. I tend to switch to British spelling (s instead of z) unless I really force myself, and even then, “criticise” seems to look better to me than “criticize”. (I still spell it “colour”, though.)
7. It takes me a very long time to get me to try a new food, but once I do, I usually like it.
8. Hype has the complete OPPOSITE effect on me. If the hype machine becomes overbearing, I usually shun the product/game being promoted.
9. I don’t like going to the movies at all. This is apparently odd because that’s what people do here.
10. Related to #8 and the fact that when I don’t want to do something, I don’t do it, I was made to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail and I really didn’t want to; it was aired anyways, and I sat there with my fingers in my ears for the WHOLE THING (even though no one said that I could do it). As a result, while I know a few quotes, I’ve never seen the movie.

The S-bomb. I’m trying to swear less, actually. It just doesn’t help.

Only when I’m absolutely desperate (Benadryl or Cotridin). If I have to, though, it’s usually because I’m suffering some something that the above will deal with.
