Not sure if anyone except me reads these, but I’m finally current on the DQ:V logs. Read and enjoy!

By the way, if anyone wonders why there aren’t any dice rolls, it’s because we actually roll physical dice — it’s more fun that way (at least to us)…

I’m behind on logs yet again, and I had a whopping 14-log backlog in my OpenRPG directory. Thanks to Sky’s help, I got a few things posted.

Tale of a Fallen Star:

I’d realized last Saturday that nothing past Chapter 2 had been posted, and we were on Chapter 8. Oops.

Unbound:

Still coming up are Digimon Revival #24 and #25 (merged sessions) as well as Ys: Rebirth Book 4, Chapters 1, 2 and 3.

Yes, I’m still alive. I’ve also still been writing. I was a little behind yesterday (1000 words), but aside from that, I’ve been staying with my head over water.

It pains me, but I’m cancelling three stories. My whole point to doing NaNoWriMo was Message in a Bottle, but I somehow don’t see myself being able to get around to it. I also never REALLY wanted to write Long Way Home since it was a game that Sky was going to run and never got around to… still would like to see something happen with that.

My goal for today is 5,000 words. It’s a lot. The most I’ve written in a day this year is 3,000 words (last year was 6,000), and with Hunter finishing early today, I know I’m going to be distractapated after 5:00 pm-ish… so I have six hours and a half to write. This normally wouldn’t be a problem (I can do 200-300 words in 10 minutes) if it weren’t for writer’s block. I know what I want to write… it just won’t come out.

Once I get to 40,000, the rest is cake. I haven’t resorted to underhandedness like I did last year (did you know that these blog posts could count into my word count if I wanted them to?), but I’m leaving the door open for that…

New Layout

In case you haven’t noticed, I have a new layout.

Only things I don’t like about the new layout are:

- The font
- The fact that it’s not widgetized (so no more polls)
- The fact that there’s no room for pages

The font is apparently the guy’s handwriting. What I intend to do is replace the About section with Pages, but to do that I need to redo the graphics. This normally wouldn’t bother me, but with NaNo coming up…

So it might stay that way for a month. Heh.

As a side note, I’ve updated Kevin and Aki’s profiles on the wiki to reflect current events.

With Sky’s help, I managed to get through logs for Digimon Revival, Spirit of Mana and Unbound. I thought I was only a couple of logs behind on Unbound, but it turns out that I was five logs behind, so boo on me.

If I keep at this, I’m sure I’ll catch up. But I need to stop tweaking my wiki, first!
